I'm Ally Morrison, a Registered Yoga Teacher and Massage Therapist in the Aspen Valley and Colorado Rockies. A mountain dweller since 1986, I have sought out deep snow, nature's beauty and the healing powers of yoga in my search to live free from the heart. I am passionate about deep inner healing, board sports and the wild outdoors as pathways to uncover joy and self-knowledge.
I offer Yoga + Massage techniques as daily practices of health and spirit care. Through dedicated study, I have over 1,400 hours of yoga training including classical Hatha Yoga, vinyasa styles and extensive study in Anusara Yoga. I am an award-winning Massage Therapist of 18 years and have over 5000 hours of private bodywork practice. As a long-time trusted therapist with the US Snowboard Team, I have worked with professional and Olympic athletes at Grand Prix, Vans Triple Crown and X Games events since 2006.
A challenging recovery from spine injury and surgery compelled me towards an inner conversation about release and renewal. As a freelance yoga teacher, I love to present on functional anatomy, alignment, therapeutics and yoga movement as a portal to understand ourselves deeper. With over 250+ hours as an assistant, I have served in trainings with renowned yoga teacher Amy Ippoliti, 5 Gems Yoga School Founder Nova Loverro, and with Beyond Massage Aspen Thai Massage programs. I serve as adjunct faculty with 5 Gems Yoga School, I am a Registered Yoga Alliance member E-RYT 200 and RYT 500, RMT-State of Colorado, a member ABMP since 1997 and BS Appalachian State University.
